The President’s Gala at Shawnee State is an annual event that brings together the community, SSU Leadership, alumni, faculty and friends of the university in support of our student and the education they receive. Special pricing for Bear Run

The Shawnee State Bear Run is an annual event, which is held each Fall on the campus of Shawnee State University.  Alumni receive special pricing for each race. For more information and to register, visit shawnee.edu/bear-run.

Clark Memorial Library at Shawnee State University

The Clark Memorial Library at Shawnee State University extends visiting borrower privileges to all alumni. Visiting borrowers are able to check out up to five items from the library's collection, as well as five items through OhioLink. Alumni also have access to the library's community access computer station.

Scholarships

The Shawnee State Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship, helps children and grandchildren of Shawnee State alumni continue the tradition of attending Shawnee State University.

Students who are eligible must have a parent or grandparent that graduated from Shawnee State University and the student must have earned a high school grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

This scholarship is stackable with other merit and athletic scholarships. A separate application is required. Call (740) 351-4AID if you have questions.
