Oak Ridge Boys coming to the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts for “American Made Farewell Tour”

The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts (VRCFA) at Shawnee State University will welcome the Oak Ridge Boys on Tuesday, Nov. 21. Marking their 19th appearance at the VRCFA, their performance is part of their “American Made Farewell Tour” and will take place in the Eloise Covert Smith Theater of the VRCFA.

“The Oak Ridge Boys are celebrating their 50th anniversary with the announcement of their Farewell Tour,” SSU Artistic Director of the VRCFA, Dr. Stanley Workman said. “It seems likely that this will be their last appearance here at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts, and we want to encourage all of their fans to not miss this last opportunity to hear them here.”

With one of the most distinctive and recognizable sounds in the music industry, the four-part harmonies and upbeat songs of the Oak Ridge Boys have spawned dozens of country hits and #1 Pop smashes.
